WOOO!
Just came home from watching Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix. Well, actually, been home for a few minutes, but generally speaking, I just came home.
I didn't see the first showing ever, since that was at midnight last night, BUT! I saw the first showing to DAY! Aaaaaaaaand... know what else? I got the first hand-given ticket. All those people who bought their tickets from the machines are cheaters! We were waiting outside (my friends and I got there at nine. The first showing was at 11:25. Yeeeeah.) and I kept trying to open the doors. See, the theatre only opened at eleven. So we killed time, bought fruit (seriously. That's not a codename for anything. We went to the store and bought fruit!) and then waited by the door. For EVER. But then I, in a desperate attempt to get it soon, pulled on the door. And it opened. It wasn't locked anymore! I gasped so loudly, it was incredible. I ran inside... but everything was still closed. I couldn't buy my ticket yet, nor my food, so I waited in line. And then they locked the doors again, seeing as it wasn't open yet, and by 10:30, there were so many people outside! And we just stared at each other. Us from the inside, them on the outside. It was funny! I was like 'suckers!' I was way too excited for my own good. Honestly. And then when the doors open, I rushed to the line, giving my money to Mathieu so he could buy my drink (I'm such a good friend, yeah? xD) I was seriously on edge. These people already had their tickets! I was practically a race to the line.
It wasn't as packed as I thought it would be, though. We still got great seats inside the cinema. Anywho, before the movie I had gone to pee, just so I wouldn't need to during the movie. Heh, that didn't work out to well. I had to pee like halfway through, and I held it in, scared to miss awesome parts. Blargy. Is it possible for your bladder to hurt? Mine did.
The movie itself was better than the others. The style of it was much better than the other four - the graphics (the fire call, especially. I hated the fire call in the fourth movie, but this one was good.) and just the filming itself. But there was stuff left out, like usual.
The Weasley twins didn't open up a shop, but they left school. And Harry wasn't the only one who wrote with the quill that cut into his skin - though he was the first. Luna, though she didn't look like I thought Luna would, impressed me. I like Movie!Luna lots. n____n 'Specially her shoes... Too bad we didn't get a good look at her radish earings. Cho wasn't as 'crying' as she should have been, and they didn't do the scene where they were in the tea shop. Would've been funny. Nor did the do the scene that included St. Mungo's. I was looking forward to seeing Lockhart again, regaining his memory. Ah well. xD And I was uber impressed with this movie, the effects, even with the missing scenes... until Sirius died. I was like: "...what?" They messed it up! I mean, BLARGY! They didn't do it properly! *sigh* It's just not cool... But Bellatrix was awesome. xD As was Kreacher. But Mrs. Black wasn't there. Tonks' hair was too long, in my opinion, but other than that, she was a perfect Nymphadora. Firenze wasn't there either; that sucks, 'cause I liked him. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAND... Wait. I forgot. No, this was something uber important. Look how long the 'aand' is! DAMN IT! See how distracted I am? Too many thoughts at the same time.
They improved the Death Eater outfits. Thank Merlin. And they messed up the prophecy. You know, the prophecy that the entire series is about? The one the Harry Potter books revolve around? The one that was the cause of Harry's scar, of Voldemort's attack of the Potters, of his determination to kill Harry? Yeah, they messed it up. They didn't mention the marking or the birthdate/parentage thinger! So no one knows it could'a been Neville! BLARG! That kinda pissed me off once I realised it...
Yeah, so basically Sirius' death turned me off. Wasn't that great. And we didn't see that much of the Marauders - and they did the memory wrong. Harry was supposed to look in a Pensieve, not Snape's mind. And he was supposed to get angry since James had been mean, and everyone said he was exactly like his father. AND THERE WAS NO TWO WAY MIRROR! And Harry hadn't firecalled Kreacher when he saw the vision.
*sigh*
Mmkay, I'm done going on and on and on about the movie. n______________n WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOT! Right then. Now for the book to come out...
