Late Morning

Kara wakes undisturbed, which was a change from every other time. Her night hadn't been very peaceful, as Lee woke her every hour per doctor's orders. Her head was still pounding, but she wasn't shivering anymore.

She carefully probes the spot on the side of her head where the ice ball hit and finds a large bruise. Kara sighs and pulls the covers over her head, content the stay the rest of the day in bed.
