I just called this woman who lives in an assisted living community to let her know that Medicare is paying for a transfer chair. It is our third conversation. However, I talk too fast and she's hard of hearing. I believed she had all her marbles until she shouted down the phone, "I'm blind as a bat! You have to speak up!"
