My dearest laptop, only 2.5 years old, is suffering from a disease known as "manufacturedbyhp-itis" ie, it overheats and turns itself off randomly. The battery is also no good, and it must be plugged in all the time... but the connector tip is bad and so I have to set it *just so* in order for it to stay lit up blue. :/ I can't afford a new one ( Read more... )

I bought that book this summer! Haven't read it yet, but you talking about it makes me want to now. :3

I'm currently reading Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close by Jonathan Safran Foer, and it is absolutely beautiful.

Don't you just love fitting into kid's shoes? It's cheaper and they tend to be super cute!

Glad to hear The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay is good, I've been meaning to check it out.

Caitlin's HP had that, too! She started running it upside-down, essentially.

This is my last Naka for working it. I might continue to attend, but The More =/= The Merrier in the case of staff. -_-;

My laptop did exactely the same thing! I solved the overheating problem by getting a laptop cooling pad for $7 from amazon...
