(no subject)
So I saw this article at work today: House bans lead from toys. I would like to point out that the vote was 424-1. Who was the douchebag that voted against this? MUST BE IN THE POCKET OF THE LEAD LOBBY. They are fierce.
Leaving for Tulsa in a few hours. Penny and I are going to be Naka Kon booth babes at Tokyo in Tulsa. We are staying at Elliott and Jay's, so that should be fun. We are hitting up the gas station and walmart for snacks before we leave town, then drive hours and hours, and then arrive in time to set up our booth before the dealer's room opens at one. Seems early for a friday dealers room to open, but oh well.
I have yet to really start packing. I've at least done laundry. It should take a half an hour tops once I start. I went to martini night so I could see the boy for a bit before I leave for the weekend. So while it wasn't smart, and I'm going to be super tired, I dont' regret it :P
I have a poster to make. I might just take the stuff with me and do it there. :/
OH I ALMOST FORGOT TO MENTION I GOT MY FIRST OILCHANGE BY MYSELF TODAY. I AM A 24 YEAR OLD GIRL. I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF.
i might cave and take a quick nap here before kimi gets off work.
Oh yes, Kimi moves in while we are gone :P And Nathan is at guard this weekend, so its like "Congrats on moving in ohbythewaycanyouwatchthecatsandmaybethedogthankssomuch"
And friends who know what I look like, apparently I must cosplay for the roomparty we are going to do at arkon. (Arcon? however its spelled... in stlouis) So as I have never cosplayed... what should I cosplay? Keep in mind my limited budget, and limited skills sewing (I've made a few things freeform and from patterns, and made pants from scratch as I took the costume production class at KU) and my not-perfect phisique. Oh, and can it be from something not dumb or not totally obscure? :P I AM DEMANDING.
