On the one hand I feel I should write here more
On the other hand I tend to spend most of my time on Facebook, where I have a community spread across the continent I want to keep in touch with. There's only so much of me.
The biggest thing I've been up to lately has been travelling to Minneapolis for their North Star Blues exchange. By far the most fun I've ever had dance traveling. The natives really impressed me; more than any place else I felt like I had just accidentally walked into a circle of friends I just didn't know I had yet.
Exciting Things are happening at work too. Ever since I started working at Draper I've been advocating for using advanced systems engineering techniques similar to what I learned in grad school. Recently a decision was announced to split up the Simulation Laboratory, which I'm in, with part of it becoming a new Model Based Systems Engineering group. I was asked to join the new group! Huzzah! It's just that nobody really knows what this will mean yet. I'm sure there will be more to write about later.
