A Reminder
That "live every day like it could be your last" isn't just a pithy saying.
Today a beloved figure in the blues dancing community, who I have never met but saw at large events, just . . . didn't wake up this morning. He was only 30 years old and leaves behind a wife and two children. Gives one pause to think.
I am very proud of the community I choose to belong to today, though. The outpouring of support for the family and friends that Keith Shapiro left behind from people across the country is as great a tribute as anyone could ever wish for.
