stuff. and things. STUFFIN THINGS.

My nose is all stuffed and i feel crummy. But i have managed to do a whole day of work, then make several work related phone calls and a work related email, talk to the boy on the phone, do a couple hours of graphics work, find the keys I've been missing for 3 days, along with some CDs and a couple other things, have a shower, and then come on here. THAT'S COMMITMENT FOR YOU.

Or maybe it's just the insomnia due to spending all Monday in bed to get over the headcold I managed to get THE DAY BEFORE I was due to return to work from the holidays. Meaning, of course, that because I took the first day back from holidays off and didn't think to get a medical certificate (who goes to the doctor's for a cold? what are they going to give me for it? Nothin', that's what) I probably won't get paid. Unless I have some days in lieu up my sleeve, which is possible. I'm not sure. Anyway, doesn't matter really, I have 2 freelance jobs also on the go so no doubt whatever days in lieu I have left will very soon be used up with all that anyway. I have, however, got permission to restructure my work hours, so that's a plus. I'll be looking into that this week, alongside the 50 other things I'm currently doing.

Man, I think I need a holiday from my holidays!! This happens every time. I really should actually start having holidays at some point, instead of continually working. No wonder I'm sick. This is dumb.

as in another couple of weeks the coursework for my Masters should go online! Yay! At this point I'm not sure if I'm excited or scared. Either way, I'm hyperventilating at the thought of it all.

In good news though, my graphics are getting better, and I'm being productive. I went to a friends art exhibition opening last night which was awesome, and I finally managed to find echinacea in liquid form. I also borrowed some big kickass book on Microsoft Sharepoint 2007 (Dan, tell Bek!) which seems pretty chunky and makes me clap my hands in glee - even if I am currently wondering when I might find the time to actually look through it in any real sense.

I have been very good today and have been drinking tea with echinacea. I only had ONE coffee! Anyone who knows me well knows this is a rare occurrence - most days I need 2 before it reaches 10am, and will often refuse to do any work until I have had my minimum 2 cups.

OK, so I don't refuse per se, but the coffee does help.

PS: Dan, I've been asked to enquire about your Myth TV setup. Please remind me to ask you and for you to give me the rundown on your hardware & software specs.

PPS: I keep changing the order of the lines in my paragraphs to make them read better, but no matter what I do they still seem to feel random and disjointed. I am going to blame it on the cold.
