Dear Kristy,
Thank you insane amounts for coming up for my birthday and sharing all the fun times! Your cupcakes are awesome and I've been going through withdrawl since I finished off the last of the cheesecake ones a few days ago. I'm sorry if I ever grumpy with you or anything. Sometimes I get stupid. I can't wait to come visit you in SD!!

Well, it was a success. Proven by the fact the cops showed up at 12.30 am to break up the rowdiness that was my party. I have suspitions about that. Those of you who left early, *[see edit]*. Those who stayed until the cops showed up or shortly before, you are awesome! Thanks for sharing in my birthday fun! I hope we can all do it again sometime, minus the cop. I am always amazed at how into themes people get. I loved all the costumes. Happy Feet, Twister, 40 yearold Virgin, True Romance, Eternal Sunshine, Pollack, Punch Drunk Love... you guys are awesome. I simply adore all of you to pieces! It was really nice to be surrounded by the people I love and who care about me enough to give me one night out of their lives. I don't ask for much, really.

Other than that, the weekend with Marcella and Kristy was super fun. Musical beds was pretty awesome too. Friday with my mom was great and she stocked me up with some Marilyn movies, so I've been having a Marilynathon almost every night/day since. I love classic movies. I love Marilyn. I wish I had more time off from work, I feel like I need more time to recover, besides, I'm still sick.

Karaoke on Monday was... not the best night ever. There were miscommunications, blatant disregard, and general childish behavior. But I still had fun with Ashley, Hillary, and Tara until they left. Monday was also a good test of my selfcontrol. I started drinking away my feelings and I caught myself and took myself out of the situation instead of letting it escalate. Go me!

God damn time is going slow.

Oh well, I'm off to finish cleaning bay 5 before I bike home in the rain.

[edit: 2:11pm 9 February, 2007]Upon rereading this entry and the "thoughtful" comment from Kim, I realize I wasn't very clear about my feelings towards those who came to my party. I, of course, want to thank everyone for coming and celebrating with me, even if it was only for a few minutes. But I told everyone that at the party, so I have nothing further to say to those who left early. Yes, it was great that you came and I really appreicate it, but you didn't stay long enough to make a lasting impression on a drunk girl. In fact, I don't think I got a chance to really talk to anyone who left early, besides saying hello and thanking them for coming. But it doesn't matter in the long run, because I do appreciate everyone who came.
