No news at work, and we closed early 'cause it was dead.
Got within a block of my house, and people are cheering in the streets. I mean everybody. My entire neighborhood sounded like the inside of a stadium. Fireworks going off, people running out of the CC Club cheering.
Got home, Dani and Leah are watching it on TV, I get home just in time to see McCain's concession speech. Which was really, really good. And we're pretty damn sure that the music they played at the end is the piece used in Return of the Jedi when they're cremating Darth Vader. * We checked.
I'm a happy, happy kid.
I will actually listen to presidential speeches again. And I very much want Obama to read me bedtime stories.
