From the course syllabus... "You will be taking five quizzes online, three proctored exams and a proctored final exam... The quizzes are each worth 20 points. The exams are each worth 100 points. The final exam is worth 150 points. Therefore, there is a total of 550 possible points for the course.
To earn an A in the course, you will need 493 points or more.
You will earn a B in the course if you have between 438 and 492 points.
You will earn a C in the course if you have between 383 and 437 points.
You will earn a D in the course if you have between 328 and 382 points.
You will earn an F in the course if you have 327 points or less.
Note on grading procedure: If all tests are taken by the stated deadlines, then you may be able to improve your lowest test grade when you take your final exam. If the portion of the final exam has a better percentage of correct answers than your test that had the lowest grade, I will replace the lowest test grade with the percentage that you got correct on that portion of the final exam."
Now, I got into the final exam today and the top of the paper said it was worth 195 points!
I'm confused. I thought I needed 127 points to get my A, but now am not so sure. I mean, it would be nice to only need 127 out of 195 instead of 150, but...
I think I might have gotten the A anyway, but with this grade confusion, I just don't know. Guess I'll have to wait and see. But is anyone else reading this different than I did?
