F*in SMS Pushes!
I use Word sometimes and am required to convert my docs to PDF. Every time the company does an SMS push to get some Word virus, it wipes out my PDF writer! But PDF writer is still there (Acrobat Professional). It's there, but it won't work on WOrd docs unless you reinstall. But they won't give ME the disks. So I had to call them for a 5th time to get them to reinstall tomorrow morning.
This also is a problem because I only notice it when I need to use it, which is always on deadline. So I have a doc due COB tomorrow, and no PDF writer. They said they'd send a person to install it tomorrow morning, but I have meetings and such and bet they'll never show (they haven't before!)
Does anyone know how to restore my PDF writer in Word without needing the installation disks? If I open Adobe Acrobat Professional and try to use "create PDF", it opens the Word doc, then hangs.
HELP? I have the feeling it's something that could be reset. I did find a macro under Macros that said somethign about disabling PDF writer, but deleting that didn't help.
