Well, it looks like I have another job LOL. My friend at work, Rhonda, told me about this other place she was applying at and that it would be perfect for me. Also, it's better pay and more flexible hours, and NO weekends!
It's a company that cleans strata buildings/condos. Honestly, it's not much different than what I'm doing at the store, just that I won't be cleaning up chicken/fish guts LOL. I have no issues vacuuming and cleaning windows/dusting etc.
I'm not quitting the store just yet, as Andrea, the manager, says she's going to try and get me some work and that there are always new properties popping up that need people. There's no shortage of work. That's my biggest worry, quitting for this job, working for like a month and then having them come to me and say "we dont have enough work for you, after all" and let me go. Andrea assured me that won't happen and they'll find work for me. Theyve been in business for 27 years and new properties are popping up all the time and they get the contracts for them based on their reputation.
So yeah, I'm excited. I really hope it works out because I really want to leave the store. I'm done with the drama and the BS and the scheduling. And the anxiety. OMG. Even tho I'm not in the deli anymore, I still have some anxiety about other things. I won't have any with this new job. Cuz what? I'm gonna be triggered by a loud vacuum?? wtf? LOL.
When I do quit tho, it wont be pretty Rhonda gave her 2 weeks notice today and Ralph (store manager) was not happy. Wait till they get a load of me muahahahha.
