I own about eight film SLR cameras. I was buying them in order to steal the lenses for my DSLR, or resell bits. Mostly, they've been sitting around my newspaper cubicle, looking interesting

I think you need to move into slide film next, or at least pick up some for the cottage trip and play around with it.

If you haven't considered medium format, you really should. The Pentax 645 sells for pretty cheap, and they're really great, in that mid '80s clunky sort of way.

I did indeed consider medium format, as you can see. But got into it really cheaply indeed. :)
