Intellectually, I know there is more to Mississauga than parking lots and boring corporate architecture. But man, that's sure all I can see when I look out the windows here. Parking lots, business hotels, and those horribly boring single story corporate HQs.

It's nicer on the waterfront. ::nods:: Although there's a certain... choice quality of the area around the 427 and 401.

No, that's pretty much it.

Lots and lots of traffic... and yet the various corporations setting up buildings there don't seem to put two and two together.

"Hey, you think we might be more successful if staff had some way to arrive at the office?"

I find the Mess is just very comparmental. Out my windows at home, I see suburbia. Walk five
minutes, you've got small malls, small businesses, and transit. Ride five, you've got business, light industry, Government services, restaurants, supply stores. Another five, office towers, sprawling business complexes, hospitals, lakeshore, megamalls.

It is, I concede, no Hamilton.

Definitely - I've been in some nice spots in Mississauga, including the area around the burrow. Just not THIS spot, and from THIS spot, the bleah stretches forever.

I was going to compare it to the time I worked in the soap factory on the waterfront in Hamilton, when all I could see was rusting factories and chimneys spouting flame and red brick warehouses and girders and rumbling trucks carrying red hot ore...

...but that was cool.

I know the spot whereof you speak. It's like they sucked all the soul out and replaced it with shiny windows.

And it's Mississauga. It's not like there's a surplus of soul anywhere to *begin* with. n.n
