Hee, I got my first paycheck. It was just from last week when I only worked about 3 days for training, and orientation. Nyeh~ I made a good sum of money though. $65.61. I donated the change to some Flower Fund the store is doing. I'm beginning to like my job since I'm making a few new friends. There's Seth, and Taylor, two courtesy clerks I joke around with sometimes. Amber is a supervisor. Sandra was my trainer. She's leaving for Illinois tomorrow, lucky.I'm probably filling in for her this weekend since they have me working about seven hours until Tuesday. Well....I'm leaving Wednesday through Monday for Florida....so..yea. That might explain a bit. ^^; Then I have my new clerk buddy Steve. He was training me this morning...and he was 2 hours late. @.@ He hurt his back really bad yesterday, and now it somehow moved to his leg. xD He pretty much just let me handle the register myself, which I enjoyed. we joke around a bit, especially today when it was us and Taylor. Ashley, a girl who also works as a cashier and goes to my same sschool, was right. They do treat you kind of badly in the beginning, but it's only because you are new. Now, I'm pretty much friends with everybody. A.P. is awesome too. He pushes carts and is also a bagger. He's fun to talk to. =D I talk to Kelly every once in awhile. Her birthday was Tuesday; she just turned 20.
So, generally, I like working there once I've gotten used to it. =D Erik came by today and said hi. Charley's mom also came by. So, yay! >w< I'm saving up my paychecks for a car...I saw this cute red '78 (I think) Volkswagen for about $2800. T_T It wasn't an automatic though. It also needed a lot of interior work. Feh~ I'll eventually find a nice car.
Taylor kept teasing me.He kept telling the people I was ringing up, "Be careful with Sami, she's a newbie." I kept warning him that I was going to find out where he lived. xD The customers were laughing at us. "Well, she's doing a very good job." Nyeh~ Eat that Taylor. I hit him with my paycheck on the way out. "WHAT WAS THAT FOR?" Steve would tell him, "She seems like she knows what she's doing." Hee.
I was cleaning up the aisles and getting things back where they were supposed to go, and one of the customers, obviously a regular, came by and talked to me. He was talking about he had 9 knee surgeries and stuff. I felt really bad. D: I ended up checking the guy out later and he complimented me. ^_^ "Nice meeting you Sami." Then he talked to another clerk. "She's a very nice girl. I was talking to her earlier..." Hee. That's a plus for me. *is hoping she gets a merit*
I like my job. It's keeping me in a good mood. I'm really tired though...I was up late last night finishing up some art auction orders. >.<;
