the trend being... blogs! i started one mostly to track my training for the upcoming races i've signed up for. yes, me, the laziest person alive has signed up for two 5ks, a 10k, and am now contemplating a full-on marathon.
here's today's post on my blog about shoes and Juno. if you feel the urge (or are extremely bored, you can check out other posts at:
http://rachelletichy.blogspot.com/ I spent my lunch hour today at South Sound Running by my work. Not only was I trying on running shoes... I was testing them inside the store! I can imagine that I run/jog pretty funny anyways, but the "joy" of getting to run from one end of the store to the other to test out different shoes was beyond a level of enjoyment I am used to. I can truly say after trying on 5-7 pairs of South Sound Runnings finest... THEY ALL FEEL THE SAME! Okay, there were a few times where I noticed a difference, but the only difference I seemed to notice was the colors and who's really a big fan of teal these days? (I appologize to anyone reading this who reads it while wearing any form of teal.)
Although I really wanted to try out my new shoes, I wanted to enjoy some time with my huby so after work we got food at the Pacific Grill during happy hour. Not only is their food amazing, but it's very well priced during happy hour where we managed to get a casear salad, and two orders of cheeseburger sliders and fries for $10.88. (I need to mention that our salad got comped because the sliders took so long.) After stuffing our face we went to see Juno at the Grand. I could go on about this movie, just know that it made Jay and I cry, not want a baby for awhile, swear to never buy boysenberry condoms, and to cross our fingers our kids are not allergic to dog saliva.
