Wind-bent trees, Lake Calhoun
Originally uploaded by Whit10ney. My first day living in Minneapolis. I got on my bike to see where the trails would take me, and ended up here, at Lake Calhoun. Having water nearby makes me feel more at home here, and more at peace with the land, however populated and paved it may be. There were a lot of interesting people to see; a lot of health-concious folks, people riding bikes with head wraps, and some odd rollerskates with 6 inch wheels. I hope to use my bike to get back here pretty often.
