I was reviewing the TSA guidelines for carry on items -- yanno, the liquid/gels/aerosols drill -- for my upcoming visit to Boston.
I diligently read through the list... and way down the bottom, past the blasting caps, dynamite, fireworks, billy clubs, guns, nunchakus, etc. was the list of truly dangerous articles that can not be carried onto a commerical flight: whipped cream and pudding. Yeah, that's right. No more than three ounces of whipped cream or pudding in the cabin, people!
You are allowed more than 3 ounces of gels if it's prosthetic or cosmetic -- gel-filled bras, you can wear on board, in fact. I'm sure the TSA prefers full-figured women.
But that's not what really makes me feel much safer flying across the country -- at the very, very bottom is "Snow globes and like decorations regardless of size or amount of liquid inside, even with documentation: No." That's right. No snowglobes allowed in the cabin of the aircraft.
I feel safer already.
