A few weeks ago I told my housemate Dave of Oakland that I kinda missed using Windows. I missed the system maintenance - defragging, deleting files, scanning for viruses and spyware, and stuff like that. Performance tweaking tasks that always left me feeling happy because my computer was now "better". I've recently been able to do that again since work provides me with a Windows XP desktop (with a 22" monitor!). However, Dave told me that sentiment of using a Windows PC wouldn't last, and he was right.
For some reason, the Excel spreadsheets that I've been trying to open just keep on lagging for no apparent reason. Furthermore, I tried shrinking the file size so I could email them as an attachment, and the process ended up freezing my computer and making it lag - pretty frustrating when I have to do it for about 2 hours. This is going to be one of those days when I get to go back home and use my Mac and say "Ahhh....."
