WWDC Part 2
Okay so I posted my thoughts on the iPhone earlier, probably because that was the biggest thing that happened this morning. Now that I have two finals off my back, I took a look further into what happened, and this is something that I'm pretty excited about!
I use the .Mac service, which pretty gets me 10gb of storage, Mail (which I don't use), the ability to create really cool looking websites (in the works), and also an online picture gallery (that I can also integrate into my site). I paid $50 for this (it's annual), but you normally get it for about $70 off Amazon.
The .Mac service is now called MobileMe, and offers really cool features (and makes me really want to get an iPhone....but poor college student can't afford it)! It's now 20gb of storage, offers syncing on PCs, iPhones, and Macs, it pretty much an online application (similar to a lot of Google Apps, but more elegant), and makes it a lot easier to send stored files and stuff. I think it's also more Windows friendly, even though using it with a Mac will, of course, give you the most benefits.
