Umm...Hi. I haven't updated since January. Shall we? Yes, I think we shall.
So, since January, what's happened with me. Oh yes. Everything & nothing at the same time. I'm a paradox like that. I'll summarize what I can remember.

... ...
Ok, let's work backwards.
Last night! July 4th! was fun. In the afternoon when I finally got dressed & mobile, I first went up to SLO intending to go see Gene who just got a new job there, but I got distracted at Borders and bought a couple books (Fight Club & a Chomsky book). Then when he called me, he was already back home in Grover Beach. Sooo I drove back down there, we talked for a while so we could update each other on life. Mostly him & the drama with a former roommate & a girl...it's a mess. Anyway, after that, we got up and went to Jeremy's parents house, to be with Jeremy & Mel (getting married next saturday), their parents, and Jeremy's brother & girlfriend. Now, Jeremy's parents are hardcore bikers. They don't look it, but they are bikers all the way. They have some...interesting stories. But I won't go into detail.
So we all sat & talked for a long time till it was time go to and watch the fireworks over Pismo.
Now, here's where I start to plan my evil plans. Scotty, aka
Windrunner was in the area for fireworks and Andy playing in the AF band on the pier during the fireworks. I've known Scotty for...a long time. We were trying to figure this out last night. I was saying far too long. I think we started talking probably late '97 - early '98. It seems forever. It should be forever. He'll be a friend forever. We need to talk more. Get together with some consistency. Love that guy.
Err..anyway. So I knew there was no way I was getting to the pier 10 minutes of the show starting. So I watched the bombs explode in the sky with my new adopted family from the cliff edge. It was nice. Then afterwards, I hopped in my truck and started the fight through traffic to get to the pier to see Scotty & company.
Then I get him on the phone and he's on his way back to the Madonna Inn in SLO. In the other direction that I'm going. Sooo, fighting my way upstream, I make it there, and coax him into coming outside to guide me into the bar...but not before a hard, firm hug, which felt oh-so good coming from him. Sitting in the bar area, I was introduced to people who's names I've known online for about as long as I've known Scotty, but never knew. Jenn/Zorra, the gorgeous Southern belle with the awesome hat, Nameless/John who I seem to remember a picture of with long hair(?) but now he's a skinhead, and the British dude. Uhh. I forget his name. Sorry!
So after sitting a while, hearing stories of their adventures and things that were supposed to be a "secret" (please, there are no secrets from me), and soaking in some very awesome people, the just being thrilled to be in Scott's company again, it was time to go. They were off to hunt down another friend, and I would of gone, except that Gene was still back at Jeremy's parents house, drunk, and with no ride home, and he had to work at 9am today. So alas we parted with another strong hug from Scott that was much too short, and even a hug from Jenn which made me smile, and we were off. Got back to the parents house, heard another really really wrong story, and took Gene, Jeremy & Mel home. As long as I'm around, there's always a sober driver. Then I came home and watched movies till I passed out. Yay.
BTW, Scott said we'd meet today for lunch or whatnot as they had to go back to LA for Scotty's family situation, but I got a txt message today saying he was in jail last night? I can only imagine what I missed. And yes Scotty, even though I'm not a religious man, my good thoughts and will power are with you & your family. There are those that say that my will is stronger then the power of a god, but you know how that goes =)
Uhhh...since January. I really don't want to try and remember. Here's the super-brief-summary:
