oom summary numero uno
The bar moves apace, but outside of it, the universe inhabited by crows and sharks and a sound tuner struggles to keep up. A day has passed since a boy had a bloody entrance, but for Minami Ikki, it's been no more than a few hours.
After everything with the sharks and the rest of it, one would think Ikki was going to get a break. It even seemed like that, for a little while. Other than an eventful meeting with a strange girl with pink hair*, other than having to clean the school for punishment and other than Triton showing up to claim ownership of Kogarasumaru's training program, it was all pretty okay. Maybe things would be calm for once, right? Crow actually had a little hope about it.
But in their kind of world, it's when you least expect things to happen that they all occur at once. The first of nine bells tolls, and everything changes. The attack Kanon had fended off had been on Ikki's own sister and a man that was just as good as being his brother, putting the latter in the hospital. If that wasn't enough to give a future Sky King a heart attack, then the next piece of news could have - that he himself had to go into the hospital to! But however could this be, he was perfectly fine?
Yeah, right. Apparently he was some kind of damn dinosaur, and hadn't noticed that during the Devil's 33 with Triton a few weeks past, he'd somehow broken his knee. He'd been walking around on it all that time, and never even noticed. So now he's stuck in the hospital too, stuck away from his team and all their plans and everything that he needed to be doing with his life. Put in a wheelchair, stuck in four walls, stuck in a stupid-fucking box for who knows how long.
How would the team deal with it? The only thing to do was to put Kazu in charge, with Agito out of action as well. The only thing to do would be to hope and trust that they could raise the team's levels without him. The only thing left was to try not to stab himself in the face, with all the new heaps of stress and annoyance on him.
The only question left is, then, a resounding echo in his head of: WHERE IS YOUR GOD NOW, MINAMI IKKI?
