i said 'eLections'!
eLections are funny things.
for instance, today i am up for nomination to sit on the principal's advisory committee.
it means a crap load of meetings (one a week in term 1 & 4, one a fortnight 2 &3), however, it does mean that i am on the inner in terms of the shit that is going down. (i plan to use that phrase in someway!)
considering my last run-in with eLections, which is similar to that of mr. widderslante, where our campaign speeches consisted of 'don't vote for us, because we will stuff everything up'.
i believe on both accounts we won (we would like the believe as such), but were deemed unsuitable for office. oh well, that's the illusion of democracy for you. :)
