...are excessive and irksome.
Nothing takes me out of my enjoyment of a story faster than author notes at the end of every single fricking chapter.
Seriously, if you have to beg comments at every chapter...or worse yet play coy and threaten to not post more chapters unless people leave comments...or worst of all play the 'should I write more' game in a pathetic attempt to get people to praise you...you most likely aren't that great of a writer to start with.
Seriously, take a clue from the professional writers...if they don't do it then you don't need to either.
This goes to warnings as well...a summary and a rating are all you really need. If you want to be extra nice you can list the really squicky stuff and pairings and OOCness but at the end of the day readers are taking the same chance with fanfic as they do with any book or magazine they pick up to read...they might get started and realize they don't like it. In which case they have the same option of putting it down.
But seriously, STOP PUTTING AUTHOR NOTES AT THE END OF EVERY EFFING CHAPTER!!!!! All you are really doing is ripping the reader straight out of the story. Think about it, if you want positive comments and reviews is yanking the reader out of the story at every opportunity really going to help you get that?
