Hitting the road at last!

Ok so I've been furiously studying up my new route and have completed filling in my handy dandy GPS unit with everything I want to see heading East. My first plan of action is to stay at a petrified forest campground tomorrow night after making it over the Cascade range. I don't intend to pay for campgrounds that often, but I'm getting major pre-trip jitters right now and plotting out a "safe" place to sleep makes me feel better. Anyway I'll update my LJ/Myspace from the road when I can, and texts several times a week to those I promised them.
