So yeah, due to corporate bullcrap, yesterday I found out I am now gainfully unemployeed. Good news is that they are still paying me for a while, long enough to find another job at least. So until then I gotta bust my ass finding somewhere new to work

Once you've got the resume welded together, try posting it up on Monster.com. It took all of a week before I was getting called for job interviews.

Try Hotjobs as well, I think its called. I got more hits from them and the local paper's classifieds than I did from Monster.

I know how you feel too. I was laid off of a job after a year and a half. And though I didn't like the job, the fact that I knew I was laid off because my boss had to pick someone--and I didn't want to play any political games... it sucked big time.

Enjoy your severance though, make sure you file for unemployment though. If they laid you off, you're eligible. :)
