(no subject)
I JUST FOUND OUT THAT THEY ARE MAKING PRINCE CASPIAN (THE SEQUEL TO THE LION, THE WITCH, AND THE WARDROBE) INTO A MOVIE THAT IS GOING TO BE RELEASED IN 2008 AND WILL HAVE THE SAME LITTLE KIDS PLAYING THE PEVENSIES AND LIAM NEESON AS THE VOICE OF ASLAN!!!!!
*regains composure* Okay, sorry about that, but I am very excited (and for those who know me well, "Mrs. Robinson" is playing in your head now, I apologize for that). I just finished reading all of the Chronicles of Narnia today, and, while they probably will not make it into my all time most favorite books, they were still good and they kept me entertained this past week.
And AF is taking us to see POC2:DMC tomorrow, although I heard that the movie is 2.5 hours long, so I will therefore have to stock up on plenty of corn, peanuts and raisins to get me through the whole thing. This is good too because those two small children I watched this week had less than good behavior for me, especially on Tuesday.
NOTE - my sister has just informed me that most of the guys on Disney Channel are gay, because *sarcasm* this is something that I did not already know.
Also, I know I've said in the past that JK Rowling has not seen/read Misery, but I just found out that she and Stephen King (along with John Irving) are doing a reading in New York City at the beginning of August--great combo, IMHO. It's called, "A Night with Harry, Carrie & Garp"--isn't that a hoot??? I think it is!!!
Time to go start dinner, as everyone knows what a gourmet chef I am.
