Don't take that tone with me. It's a fair question.

How could you think this is right? How could any of you think this is right?

Don't be naive. More often than not, it isn't a question of whether something is right or wrong. It's a question of survival. Of wanting to survive. You do want to survive, don't you?

[She jerks her head to look away from him, the anger drained out of her voice.]

I'm not going to kill innocent people to survive. Especially not kids. And the woman whose picture came with my letter wouldn't want me to either.
