Louisiana....
In Louisiana. I brought some sewing stuff with me to work on. Dad's got a machine I may be able to borrow while I'm down here. Still getting over the sinus ick I developed over the 4th of July, however. Not surprisingly, the long drive caused a relapse.
I managed to get just about everything done that I was supposed to before I left, and Nigel will be handling the few lingering things Monday when he gets back from the FoD event this weekend. I should feel more queer about not being there for the first event as a non-staff member, but I really don't. I wish them well and all, but I suppose I really have just sort of let go of any real attachment to the game at this point. Whatever will be, will be.
What I do miss, however, is snuggling up to my Nigel at night. It's always odd trying to sleep without him, and doubly so without the dogs. I have too much room in my bed and no one is trying to lay on me. It's very strange.
Dinner's ready. Have to go.
