Sixty-First Journal Entry

To keep my communicator from shocking me, I have a puzzle for everyone.

12 people are traveling in two cars that can each hold six people -- five passengers and the driver. However, one hour away from their destination, one of the cars breaks down. Using the car that is left, how long will it take to get all 12 people to the destination?

communicator, yay puzzles

Ah... what do you mean by "extra"?

Well, it says one hour away, it doesn't say if they were already traveling X amount of hours before the breakdown. Moreover, they'd still have to travel the remaining hour with the non-broken car in the first place, eh.

Ah, I see. The total time spent travelling from the time the car breaks down, then, counting the hour they still had left.
