I'm alittle worried. I was talking to Marik, and its obvious if I look back on how he acted before the party and to now. I want to get this darkness, or whatever it is that is taking him over away. I don't know what to do...I hope Marik comes up with something.

I don't think its dangerous, Mou hitori no boku would never hurt me, he's just not himself. He had been telling me about 'darkness' or something, and then he changed...

...Does he know you've been talking to others about his change? If he finds out you suspect something is wrong I do fear for your safety Yugi.

The darkness is something everyone with a millennium item must overcome. It is a constant force we must maintain control over.

I have no memories of what Atem was like as Pharaoh, or how he was able to balance the darkness on his own. But I know he was a good and just ruler, a greatly respected man. I'm sure he only needs a little help remembering how to keep things in check.

So he's had this darkness before? Do you know where it came from and why it attacked after the mist? I-...I'll keep my questions for when he meet at the party, maybe.

I'm sorry, I don't know where it comes from. I've had a few brushes with the shadow realm and the dark things there. I've also seen the darkness in my own item. But it's never tried to take me over. We, have a sort of truce, usually.
