If it wasn't for the faint lighting and the pounding music reverberating off the walls, Meisa would have noticed Kazuya's uncomfortable glances and inquired about it. But since it was her first night at Se7enth Heaven, the thrill had thrown off her accomodating sense. Not that Meisa was a party kind of person, but she was easily excited by trying new things or going to different places she had never been to before.

"Alright, drinks first it is." Meisa agreed with a smile. With a quick look around, she led him Kazuya around the dancing floor and towards the bar, not wanting to lose her friend in the crowd.

Luckily, the path to the bar wasn't difficult at all and involved very little pushing. When they reached the bar, Meisa let out a sigh of relief, happy that she didn't have to physically force anyone of her way. Within a minute, she was able to get the bartender's attention, and requested a glass of plum wine before asking for Kazuya's choice. "Which drink do you want, Kame-chan? It's on me. And no, you're not paying," Meisa exclaimed with a small laugh.

[OOC: Me too! :Db Also, I'm not very knowledgeable when it comes to club drinks, so I just chose one that I was familiar with. X3]

Laughing, Kusano emerged from the back room, wiping his hands on a bar rag and shoving one of the other bartenders in a joking manner. Having only arrived not too long ago, Kusano had lingered in the back with a few of his work buddies, joking around has they changed into their work attire and shoved their street clothes into their lockers.

If anything Kusano could happily agree that he enjoyed coming to work (well, for the most part). He was greeted by a few regulars from the dance floor and from across the bar. After a few joke, some small talk and greetings between him and the customers, Kusano finally got himself together and got to work.

Hironori was just in the middle of making a Mai Tai for a foreign looking man when something caught his eye. Chuckling to himself, he finished the order, and moved swiftly down the bar, wiping his hands once more. “Hey, what can I help you with?” he asked, grinning at the pair.

She should have known that sooner or later would definitely be sooner. It wasn't until Kusano had asked them for their order, did Meisa recognize his voice.

"Ah, Notti!" Meisa exclaimed at the sight of her good friend. With a small wave towards Kazuya, Meisa made a quick re-introduction for the two, "You remember Kame-chan, right? Uh, I'll have a glass of plum wine. And Kame-chan will have..?"

[OOC: Sorry for the shortness, but I hope I didn't go over your turn, Kazuya-mun. x)]

Kame let out a small laughter when Meisa told him he wouldn't be paying. He should've expected that from his friend. "Are you sure about that?" he asked with a single glance at her before his attention was shifted towards a bartender that spoke up. The guy seemed familiar, and only when the nickname 'Notti' catched his ears did he recognize him as Kusano Hironori.

He let his friend do the re-introduction before giving Kusano a single nod. "Nice to see you again, Kusano." he said and leaned his arms on the bar, glancing at all the drinks, pursing his lips a bit as he thought about what drink to take. "I think I'll have vodka."

[ooc: Don't worry about it. I'm sorry for responding late. xD;;]

"That's me! Haha. Nice to see you" Kusano laughed, giving a friendly nod to his sempai before he turned to look for what the two ordered. The hunt didn't take long and he soon returned, bottles in hand before he dipping behind the counter to find some glasses. "So how's work?" Truly interested or not, it was conversation, and Kusano always appreciated a good conversation. Opening a bottle of wine, he poured it smoothing into the glass before setting it down and picking up the next glass. "There you go, Meisa."

"Straight vodka, right?" he asked, looking up at Kame for a moment, open bottle hovering over the mouth of the glass. It had been ages since he had seen the other man, though it was easy to say he had not changed too much physically. Although he had apparently dated one of his good friend (kind of sad he only realized it recently), Kusano's acquaintance to the other was brief on the grounds that the younger man realized he preferred basketball to baseball. Nonetheless, Hironori felt wave of interest on hearing Meisa was bring her friend to have a little visit with him.

"Thanks, dear," Meisa said as she took the glass. Even though the wine wasn't as strong as Kazuya's drink, she liked the sweet taste. Not that she was planning on getting drunk that night, what with her high tolerance for alcohol. Maybe a little buzzed, but it was all good fun that came with clubbing with friends. Or in this case, friend.

While Kusano's hands were full, she placed two bills big enough for both of their drinks and a tip on the counter.

"Work is like school; keeping me busy. But it's fun having co-workers like Kame-chan and Maki," Meisa answered, choosing her words carefully. In her mind, the close-encounter with her most extreme customers flashed through her mind, but she knew now wasn't the best time to tell him. But it was hard though, keeping a story from the guy Meisa usually told everything to.

Hoping to get her mind off the guilt, she turned to Kazuya and raised her glass. "So, what are toasting to?"

"Straight yeah." Kame answered Kusano's question with a single nod, watching as the other poured the clear liquid into the glass. He had to admit he was a bit amazed with the other's bartending skills, the fast movements yet it was careful as to not break anything. His kouhai who seemed to be pretty childish during their high school days had really grown up, though his outer appearance hadn't changed much. Kusano was a good friend of Meisa and he wondered why he had never talked much with the other in the past.

Turning sideways, he gave Meisa - who was now talking - his full attention, smiling a bit when his name was mentioned. He was glad that they both started working at the same place on the same day, it was his friend's first host job and he felt like he had the responsibility to make her feel comfortable at work whenever he could. "Work is work, sometimes it's fun, sometimes it sucks." he said with a small shrug and glanced at Kusano. "I mean, you have fun customers and annoying customers as well right?"

At Meisa's question, he picked up his own glass and raised it as well. "To have a great time and forget about everything else for tonight!" He brought his own glass to Meisa's, letting the glasses make a clinking sound before gulping down the contents of his glass.

That's all he wanted now really, to have a great time with his friend.

Meisa couldn't agree more with Kazuya, because this was exactly what she needed. Since school and work kept her so busy, she was more than relieved to take a break and be away from it all. It was a plus that she got to spend it with her friends.

"That's more than enough reasons for us to drink!" Meisa concurred with a firm nod and then took a big gulp of her wine. Similar to the plum wines she had in the past, this one was sweet on her palate, but she could tell that it had a higher amount of alcohol by the stronger burning aftertaste. Downing alcohol in one go wasn't always Meisa's forte when it came to drinking, so she had to take a another sip to finish off the drink.

"So, do you want another one? Or would you like to grace the dance floor with your moves?" Meisa asked, making a flourish of her free hand towards the bopping crowd a few feet away from them.

Despite the delight in her voice, she had always felt self-conscious when it came to dancing. True, Meisa did like to dance, but she felt she that wasn't good at it.

[OOC: Sorry, I forgot to say that it's ok that you're late. I'm late, too. xD]

Right when Kame had finished his vodka in one large gulp, he smashed the glass back onto the bar, finding the familiar burning sensation in his throat pleasurable. Just one glass wasn't enough for him though, he needed a lot more to even get tipsy.

"Thanks, that was a good vodka." he said to Kusano and pondered about what to drink next as he looked at the rows of bottles behind the bartender. And just when he was about to speak up to order, Meisa spoke up and he turned to look at her, his eyes following her hand that stylishly waved towards the partying crowd, all immersed into their dancing and grinding and whatsoever.

He glanced back at Meisa, a thoughtful look on his face. His answer was clear - that he wanted to drink more - but he needed to think about his friend too. "I don't mind. Need a couple more drinks before partying or do you feel like dancing already?"

[ooc: It's okay. x33]

It must have been the excitement that made her forget her sensitivity for her friends' feeling earlier. But after seeing Kazuya gaze at the bar, Meisa was able to regain it, seeing clearly that he wanted another drink.

And there was nothing wrong with having a second drink. Or a third one.

Meisa quickly shrugged off her dancing request with a small shake of head, relieved to stay by the bar longer. "Actually, I think I'm going to need another drink." Her eyes were twinkled with mischievousness as she took a turn in looking at the numerous rows of alcohol. But since she was picky when it came to clubbing drinks, she decided to go with stick to Kazuya's choice by saying, "I'll have whatever you're having, Kame-chan."

Kame was glad Meisa decided that she needed another drink or maybe she had noticed that he was in a desperate need of another drink. He wasn't sure because sometimes, only sometimes, Meisa was able to see through him.

"Are you sure?" he asked with a small chuckle, a bit amused that she would take whatever he'd order since he was thinking about drinking something strong. He was pondering whether to change his desired drink since his friend would take it too but she would probably see through his act so he turned to the bartender and ordered two bacardi 151 straight. "It's pretty strong." he told Meisa while looking at her. "You can take a sip of it but if you think it's too strong, I'll just drink it for you." He wasn't going to force his friend to drink it, giving her the chance to refuse when she thinks it's too strong. Besides, he wasn't even sure if she wanted to get drunk tonight.

"Oh, and this time it's my treat." he chuckled.

"Alright, this one is your treat. But don't worry, I think I can handle it." Meisa boldly stated, giving him a reassuring smile. She vaguely remembered having two cups of Bacardi with her sister before, but not much happened that time. It was sweet though, how Kazuya was looking out for her when it came to drinks and reminded her of how lucky she was to have him as a friend.

When the drinks came, Meisa eagerly reached for her drink. Within seconds, she had clinked their glasses together and taken a gulp, although not as big as when she drank the plum wine. True to Kazuya's words and a betrayal to her memory, the drink was stronger than Meisa remembered. She definitely felt the difference as the increased burning sensation went down her throat, biting her lower lip against the pain.

But once the feeling had subsided, she realized that she actually liked it. Maybe Meisa was an S and didn't know it, but after that drink she certainly had a yearning for the burning sensation. "Wow, that is strong. But I like it." Meisa grinned and then added with a slight seriousness in her tone. Well, as serious as one could be in a club. "Ok, so how drunk do you want to get tonight? Because one of us needs to be less sober than the other."

[OOC: Soo, Kusano-mun has officially left the RP comm due to her insanely busy schedule. D;]

"If you say so." Kame said with a small chuckle, picking up his glass when it was served for them and raised it a bit to let their glasses chink before drinking the whole glass in one large gulp again, his eyes closed as he did so. He really hoped the alcohol would hit him soon because that's what he wanted really, to get drunk. And because of that, he purposely had skipped dinner for today.

When the glass was empty, his eyes were still closed feeling the strong aftertaste flowing down his throat and then he placed the glass back on the bar. While he liked sweet drinks when he first started to go clubbing, it had changed from sweet to strong because he realized that getting drunk was a way to forget all his problems and sorrows. And wasn't it better to quickly forget everything?

At Meisa's opinion about the drink, he chuckled slightly, though he was a bit surprised since he thought she was more of a person who loved sweet drinks which weren't that strong. Leaning against the bar, he couldn't help but think that his friend was a bit careful when it came to clubbing. While he didn't really care, she better wanted to be safe than sorry. Which is a lot smarter if he had to be honest.

"Actually, I already planned to get wasted tonight but if you want to get wasted, I'll just drink a few glasses less."

[ooc: Yeah, I saw. It's so sad. DD;]

Similar to the plum wine, Meisa needed to take another sip to fully drain her glass. Luckily, the Bacardi was better the second time around for her, because she welcomed the burn that ran down her throat. The pain was now a numbed, warm feeling as Meisa closed her eyes against the bitter aftertaste and set her empty glass on the counter.

Even amongst the deafening music bouncing off the walls, Meisa could sense the surprise in Kazuya's chuckle. Which was no shock, because she wasn't known for liking strong drinks and usually preferred the sweet ones. But it was only because Meisa never really saw the significance of hard liquor and how people could easily be addicted to them--until now that is.

So, this is the blazing numbness that people yearn for.

Upon hearing Kazuya's wish to get totally drunk, Meisa immediately put herself up to the sober role. "No, it's fine. I was just planning on getting tipsy; so if you want to get wasted tonight, by all means do so."

When it came to drinking with friends, she liked to make sure that there was at least one person sober enough to help the wasted ones out. Regardless of the fun of getting drunk, acting this way came from second-hand experience, really. Meisa spent so many nights carrying in her older sister during her clubbing days that she learned how to come home sober, or looking sober at least, before she even reached the legal drinking age.

But that didn't mean she couldn't continue drinking with him. Besides, she had a full meal earlier and wasn't even close to being tipsy yet. "Another one? Or should I choose the drink this time?"

[OOC: It is. ;A; Does that mean I have to take Kusano-mun out of the names of whose here?]

Meisa's words were a bit of a relief to him because now he was able to drink freely without having to concern about whether his friend was fine with it. And at least now, he had someone who would look after him and made sure he didn't do anything that would make him regret it the next morning.

"I'll let you choose what we're going to drink next." he said to her with a smile - that was near a smirk but that's just how he smiled when the alcohol was slowly getting to him. And tonight, it seemed that the quantity of alcohol needed for him to get drunk wasn't as much as usual, much to his surprise.

"I only have one request." he spoke, holding his forefinger up. "I want a strong drink."

[ooc: Well, Kusano did reply in this thread so you can leave his name. Maybe you can state that he made a cameo appearance. =3]

"Alright, I understand." Meisa answered, turning to scan the numerous rows of alcohol before them. "Hmm.." She thought for a moment, trying to pick a good, strong drink amongst the many brands until she her eyes found one. With a playful twinkle in her eyes, she ordered for, "Two glasses of Absolut Vodka, red label." She wasn't wrong in choosing, because she remembered that the red label had a higher proof percentage than the blue one.

A minute later she turned to Kazuya with their drinks in her hand. "Is this strong enough for you?" Meisa asked as she handed him one of the glasses.

[OOC: Oh, ok. Just making sure, because I wasn't sure what to do. x] Thanks!]
