Ancient curse or fate? Egyptian temples always seemed vessels of blood to me. A young man (probably Polish) fell to his death while waterproofing the glass roof of the Metropolitan Museum into the temple of Dendur. Probably a lapse in following the safety guidelines. But now, when one visits the temple, he must do it with the realization of added historical significance of those old limestones. How terrible it must be for his family!
