Yesterday was a gorgeous day sandwiched between two gray and soggy loaves of bread. I spent the majority of it on a white and pink one speed Schwinn bike, it made me feel like going for a bike ride every day of my life. I departed home about 9:30 to travel north a couple blocks to the store where I bought toothpaste ($.99, can't beat that) and a bottle of water. I ran into John there, the guy who taught me piano tuning, and bragged to him about my two horse power beast parked just outside (that's one horsepower for each pedal). Then I departed for real, first west then north then west then south a little bit then west and north etc... I made my way up to the overpass of a big interstate road, I don't know which one, maybe I80, where I sat and had a snack and had several big rigs honk at me as they went under. I made my way back by a different route, eventually reaching the bikepath south of town and coming back on it, reaching home about two. There wasn't a better possible way for me to spend the day, I'm getting quite adept at switching between having people around and being on my own, maybe it's becoming more of the same thing.
Anyway, today is quite dreary, it's dark like the sun just set. I woke up humming the second movement of Beethoven, which tells me I'm going to hit it hard today (hit it beautiful). Hopefully the computer shop will call me this morning so I can bring my laptop to them and they can make it work. It feels a little strange to be in this big computer lab all by myself. I'm cooking Joe dinner tonight (he'll help), Cornish Pasties (with some rarebit sauce left over from last night) and perhaps a squash or pumpkin pie, definitely looking forward to it.
