I'm currently in an internet cafe in Shanghai, winding down and ready to leave China tomorrow evening. This has been an amazing trip, a life changing trip even. I've played the same orchestra program ten times in nine days. Spent more time traveling then anything else (including sleeping). Made a couple new friends, the good kind that will last longer then this trip. Gotten much better at eating with chopsticks. Gotten much better at eating things in general even if I'm not sure what they are. I hope to come back here someday, although I say that with mixed feelings. These places that I've visited are so different, there are things to love and things that make me never want to come again. The air quality is terrible, my first breath of relatively clean air in Cleveland will be amazing. And here you can never be sure what you're getting, nothing is standardized, price varies as much as quality does. I'm off to dinner now, I'll see you soon. Oh family, I can't wait to see you!
