Ten years ago.. 6 persons were debuted in one group after 5 years of waiting since their group was formed in 2001. The group called KAT-TUN. The group's name was originally an acronym based on the first letter of each member's family name: Kazuya Kamenashi, Jin Akanishi, Junnosuke Taguchi, Koki Tanaka, Tatsuya Ueda, and Yuichi Nakamaru.
The group has been through a lot since their debut. Jin Akanishi left the group in 2010 to start solo career. Then in 2013 Kouki Tanaka also left the group because of some issue. Leaving KAT-TUN as four members.
On November 24, 2015, Junnosuke Taguchi made a shocking announcement before KAT-TUN's performance on a TV show, said he'll leaving KAT-TUN and Johnny's & Associates on Spring 2016. At that time, I was thinking, "what's wrong with this group? Why this group keep losing member again and again?"
Thinking it again now, well, Taguchi made this decision of course with lot of thinking and consideration. He has right to choose his own path regarding his life. Only, maybe the timing wasn't right.
From 6 members become 5 members then 4 members, then KAT-TUN will be only 3 members left. As a fan since long time ago, I will always support KAT-TUN.
So, since today is KAT-TUN 10th Debut Anniversary, I sincerely say, Congratulations! Please keep the hard work as a group and as an individuals. I hope KAT-TUN will be back together again soon as a group after their "recharging period". Fans will be waiting for that time to come for sure.
As for Taguchi Junnosuke, the day of his departure is about to come soon. I only can say, "good luck". He'll be missed. As much as I always miss Jin Akanishi and Kouki Tanaka when they were still in KAT-TUN.
KAT-TUN 10周年 おめでとうございます〜 がんばってください〜‼︎
Note: I checked twitter and found out that Jin Akanishi and Kouki Tanaka tweet something early this morning. I don't know if their tweet was means to congratulate their former group and their ex bandmates or it was just coincidences they tweeted like that.
If their tweet was means to congratulate their former group and ex bandmates, I think it's just fair. They were the A and the T of KAT-TUN for years before they leave the group. I think fans would be happy knowing they still remember and care about their former group and ex bandmates. (^__^)
