Cathy's birthday party was really great last week, I just thought I'd mention that. Toots is curled up at the end of my bed, which is a good thing, because before he was so fat that it was hard for him to jump onto it. Oh, speaking of cats - Neville, did the owner of those kittens ever say anything to you?
Things are going okay, otherwise. I'm really happy with my partner for the Potions assignment (Hannah, when did you want to start working on that?). Some other people didn't seem to be as happy with theirs - Poor Nicky but hopefully they can make the best of it.

I've been feeling so much better lately. James and Dad keep writing me, and I have so many good friends - I'm just feeling a lot better. And different, too. I think I'm different. And I think that's better too.
I feel really badly for Nicky about being partnered up with that MacDougal girl, she doesn't seem very nice. Well, he can take care of himself, I guess. Maybe I should feel bad for her.

And I'm worried about Andrew. He's been acting so - he's not been acting like himself. He seems so sad or tired all the time, and. I just wish that I could help. But even if I can't help, I want to be there for him. I don't know where his boyfriend is, but maybe that's it. He always drinks, but I've heard that he's been drinking even more, and - well, I'm just worried.

I know that I should write a longer entry, but I think that can wait. I mean, it's a Hogsmeade weekend, after all. I'm going to get ready, because going to Hogsmeade in my pyjamas would probably not be a good idea, and then see if anyone wants to do anything.
