Smash the state!

So I saw a few bulletins encouraging people to show up to vote in tomorrow's primaries. They generally didn't endorse any particular candidate, (admirable) but I must make my own appeal to the electorate.

For tomorrow's Texas primaries, don't vote. Don't grant your statement of legitimacy to the office of the presidency, the electoral system, and especially The State. When you vote, you acknowledge the right of the state to exist and tyrannize your existence. Don't tell the state that you accept its governance. Make a more powerful statement. Don't vote, and go out into your communities and rally together as human beings who have the potential to live peacefully in true freedom, together. Hug a stranger, feed someone who is hungry, make a work of art, build something, write a song, kiss someone you love, do a dance, be happy. All of these things that make life worth living don't require the existence of The State. All of these things are what happen when people come together as communities and love each other.

We are bigger than politics. We are bigger than governance. We can exist in a world of peace, plenty and love, without bosses that wage war and oppress people within a classist, racist, capitalist system of inhumanity. Take tomorrow as an opportunity to make a statement against all the things you've been encouraged to accept but won't.

Love,
Justin
