[Melting the lock seems like the best idea to him. He steps over to the register and holds his hand out. As the flame disappears inside the keyhole, Loki takes hold of the drawer he knows money is usually kept in in these devices and pulls. It takes several seconds--and a sharp increase in temperature--but eventually the superheated metal gives, and the drawer pops out with a ding!
There's a bit of a nasty smell, though. Melted plastic is foul, and Loki waves a hand over the machine to clear the air, coughing slightly.]
