Anime Weekend Atlanta
AWA this year was awesome and I had lots of fun with Peas and Rach and my mom. XD;
Peas and I dress up as LM.C (d'uh)and my friend Rach was Tokyo Mew Mew(Ichigo) from. Well, Tokyo Mew Mew. XD It was great cause she got asked by more guys to get her picture than anyone there. She scored all the cat guys too. XD;
Peas decided with her foot to roll around in the wheelchair, therefor she missed all the LM.C glompage I got. >D But I think that everyone who knew who we were loved us, cause I got more "Omg, I love you!" or "You're my idol! *attack*" than anything else. It makes me feel good and acomplished. :D
Okay, so here's some lists and info and stuff on what we did!

List of panels/videos/whatever things I went to:
-Anime Music Video Awards. For 3 freakin' hours thank you. I don't even like AMVs. At all. But there were two that I can remember out of like 50 (2 of the winners) because one of them was random animes singing about Bumblebee Tuna and I've had that song stuck in my hea since. Joy! But it's cool cause I got all my friends to sing it with me. XD Also one about piracy with pirates. It was halarious and awesome.
-The Bands Q+A- Oh they're so entertaining~ x3
-Kimono Panel- To waste time but I learned a lot and that it's a lot of work and not worth it. XD
-Magicall Girl Anime Panel? Something like that. But it had lots of old animes that stared little girls that saved the day. I really have no reason why we went to this. But it scared me how many old guys were there. XDD
-Naruto Movie thing- I went because Rach wanted to and I didn't get any of it. Not like I could read the subtitles anyways because they were at the bottom of the screen and people have really huge hair at conventions.
-J-music panel. It got cancelled but I saw most of the panel before it. It was a British lady ranting about Studio Ghibli and Disney and how Ghibli needs to get it's act together or something along the lines of that.
The Bands!
Yay the reason I go to AWA! This year was awesome. And there were lots more people at the concert than last year although they moved it to a smaller room. n.n;;
Here's an overview of the awesome 3 bands that were there. :D
The Captains (ザ・キャプテンズ)
Left to right:
Kizuhiko : Vocalist, Electric Guitarist, Leader
Hizashi : Electric Guitarist, Dancer
Ted : Electric Bassist
Yosuke : Drummer

They call themselves the 'Last Group Sounds' To explain that here's a bit from their profile:
Group Sounds, a rock genre based on the music of such legends as the Beatles and the Who, ruled the Japanese music scene throughout the 1960s. Bands such as The Mops and The Carnabeats infused the genre with matching outfits and melodies that were distinctly Japanese. Young people of the time danced, got too excited and fainted.
I think that not only myself and Peas fell in love with them but also Rach from so much listening to thier cds in the car on the way there. They are really awesome and to appreciate them you really have to watch a live of them or see them in concert. They definently stole the show of the concer though, the crowd loved them and they loved it too. :D
The Emeralds
Left to Right:

They were definently more rock influenced than the other two bands but not really as exciting. They have some really good music but it's kinda weird how the lyrics were. Like, they would be jamming and then just stop to sing and start back up again in most of their songs. I think I like them more than Peas or Rach.

PEELANDER-YELLOW(a.k.a. Kengoswee): Guitar & Vocals
PEELANDER-RED(a.k.a. K.O.): Bass & Vocals

Because I have no clue how to describe them XD:
PEELANDER-Z, the Japanese Action Comic Punk Band, was formed by Peelander-Yellow, Peelander-Blue, and Peelander-Red (claim they are from Z area in the Planet Peelander!!) in 1998, and came into action based in NYC.
These three dress up in color-coordinated costumes about as if they came out of Japanese Animation (claim those are not costumes, but the skin!!!) put on a fun entertainment. Yes, their performance is not just playing music. Have you heard of human bowling, wrestling and kung-fu action, or funny dance at the punk rock shows? Peelander-Z knows how to entertain the audience by dragging them into the show. One experience would capture you!! Peelander-Z is the best of the universe!
Peelander-Z would of been awesome if they didn't have major technical difficulties. The only song they made it all the way through was Y.Y.Y. Which ya know, I was happy for, but all of the other songs had to be cut off. They just decided to get all the bands out there and had a party basically. That was really fun too though. :D

I brought a lot of money this year but I also had some left over! Le gasp! But I think I was un-consciencly saving that 30 bucks for a magazine I BADLY want and nobody was selling it. T.T
I didn't buy any art prints this year. Oh well~
