Learning Japanese and finally watching Ryusei no Kizuna

Last week I ranted about how I wish that I could understand the Japanese language. After searching around the web for a bit, I discovered an app called MochiKana. It's a really fun app to learn the basic Japanese alphabet and I think I've learned more than I ever did compared to my past attempts in learning the language after using this app. I'm still only at the T row though, and I know the big hurdle is yet to come but for now, I think it's cool that I'm slowly beginning to recognise the hiragana. I hope I'm motivated enough to keep on learning until I reach my goal which is being able to read and understand Japanese on listening. It would be a bonus if I can speak the language though it will probably take a long time to achieve this seeing that I don't live in Japan so it's not a language that I can use on a daily basis.

Anyway, I started to watch Ryusei no Kizuna out of curiosity yesterday. It's one of the series that was on my watchlist since my university days but I never got around to watch it. I'm pleasantly surprised with how good the 1st episode is. Sure, it doesn't really take you straight to the core of the plot but the relationship and chemistry of the main cast felt natural and good. It's also the first time I see Ninomiya in a drama and I like how he carries himself in this drama.

Now that I'm currently watching Ryusei no Kizuna, I better quickly finish my backlog of dramas which consists of Judge Dee's Mystery and Starry Love. I'm planning to complete Judge Dee's Mystery first as I usually watch Starry Love with my sister, so I'll be waiting until the next time she comes home to continue watching Starry Love.
That's all for now. See you guys later!
