Roomate date!
Okay, Elspeth and I are the best roomates EVER.
Roomie Tuesday started off with some breakfast in the kitchen, some cereal and yogurt. Then we headed off to Target shortly after for some light window shopping, followed by the mall for lunch at McDonald's and more window shopping, then Shaws to buy milk.
Followed with some loveseat time (we each have our own) for a mini-marathon of Clerks I and Clerks II (the latter, by the way, happens to be the most transparent movie I've seen in my LIFE).
Then I made dinner. I make dinner well. Granted, I can only make a few things, but today I tried something different and it was delicious. First off oven-roasted potatoes-which I prepped on Tuesday, they taste better the first time around, but reheated they were just as good. Then vegetables, I had green beans and Elspeth had a mix of some sorts.
Then was the chicken. Decided to try BBQ chicken. Cut the chicken into strips, then used my new silicon basting brush for putting the Sweet Baby Rays on. Then I sprinkled the chicken with pepper and garlic sauce, and it was DELICIOUS.
So, we had dinner by candlelight, tried some wine and it tasted awful, so we just stuck with milk in wine glasses (classy!).
Now we're watching Idol and killing some time. Good times, kicking ass, being awesome roomates. Awesome.
