(no subject)
So, I haven't written in forever. A lot of things have changed in my life and it's been really awesome. I'm doing great, me and Ben got back together a couple of months ago and it's been wicked! I know why we broke up and we've dealt with it and now things are better than ever! <3 The biggest change is that he moved out of that hellhole so a certain buck-toothed bitch isn't around anymore. Fuck yah!
Today is my 21st birthday. I feel so old. Seriously! I remember when I came to Halifax and I was 17 and now I'm almost graduated university. Today is the last day of my last co-op and I can barely believe it. I am so freaking glad! I'm going to have a month off to just chill, well I have one exam and a final project that I really need to get on but that can wait until after my huge birthday party tomorrow. (Soooooo pumped!) There should be a good crew of people too (even Beth is coming out!)and I am totally in the mood to party!
I have a job interview on Monday for East Coast Dynamics Promotions (pretty much a pub crawl company) I think all I have to do is go downtown and around and put up ads for upcoming events (will find out more on Monday) but it's $10/hour so here's hoping it works out!
There's only one real semester of school left and then I have a couple of months of Stats and I am out of the Mount forever. Not really sure where I will get a job after graduation...but it's pretty early yet (I figure I have to be closer to finished than now) but I am starting to think about it. I will be staying in Halifax for another year for sure but not sure what after that. I want to get out and see some of the world, I just need to save some $$ up first so I can do it.
Jess and I have our first trip planned, we're going to Edmonton to visit her parents (and live in the West Edmonton Mall, ha ha)and then I'm hoping me and my Mom can go to New York for our birthdays, see the museums, shops, shows etc. I think I can convince her especially if I can find a good price. She's been thinking about doing more travelling now, her and a friend might even be taking a cruise around Italy, which I think is awesome for her.
Anyways, I have all the makings of a wicked party for tomorrow! I'm going to get my hair done (and Jess is dying my hair blonder tonight, yay!) then Benny is taking me out for steak at Ryan Duffy's and then we're partying hardy!
