back to the old ball and chain...
Spring Break's over and now I really have to focus on school work and finishing up all my graduation stuff. As I'm typing I am putting off writing an essay that was due on Monday. AHH! Senioritis?? probably.
Spring Break was AWESOME! It started slowly, I spent my days embroidering and watching chick flicks, but when Easter hit it was all over!
Good Ol' High School Pals Bradley Geis and Connor Green gave me a call and said they were heading up to SF so I immediately dropped my needle to party. Easter Day was beautiful and we headed to Golden Gate Park with 40oz of Steel Reserve and a kite in our hands we sat there for hours talking and laughing and meeting new friends in the park. It was amazing. I hadn't seen those guys since high school graduation. I have now rekindled my friendship with them and we are going to hang out constantly (plus they stole Elizabeth Taylor from me). That night I went out to dinner with old co-workers to Buca DiBeppo and we laughed and had a great time.
My week in San Diego was Out Of Contol!!! Alex came down with me and we painted the town red. We went shopping in Hilcrest, hung out at friends' houses, climbed Cowles mountain, ate at Sushi Deli, went to Balboa park, saw the 'Cowabunga Dudes', went to T.J., more house parties, ate a ton of papa's food, and drank too much. It was awesome. My friends are great.
Thursday Alex left and my Aunt, Great Aunt and Mom's Cousin from Texas came to town. My Great Aunt Delrose is the CUTEST thing ever. She 80 with the sense of humor of a 30 year old. so adorable. That night we went to Barona and I won $125! yay!
Friday I went around with the fam to Hotel Del Coronado. It was a beautiful day, and I was with beautiful family. That night I went with Katie to a Women's art show about tattooing. It was nice-- free beer and wine. I saw a ton of people and hung out for a bit. Then we went to Kevin Miller's Birthday party. It was crazy. I think everyone in SD was there.
Saturday I had to recover all day. Then I got to see Jess, Angy, Reyna, Carolyn and crew that night. It was really laid back but I loved just chatting with them. <3
Sunday I went to Pokez with Mom and met up with Bree, Scarlett, Kerry, Bailey, Reyna, Carolyn and Rory. It was delicious even though we didn't drink Sangria (my friend are squares). I dedicated the rest of the day to school work, that I am still trying to finish now. BLAH.
Back to school-- It's okay. Hung out with my Cousin yesterday which was nice. Got cute stationary. IF ANYONE WANTS TO BE PENPALS OR JUST WANTS A CUTE LETTER COMMENT WITH YOUR ADDRESS!
I'm kinda bummed out, but I have to focus on school and try and ignore it. ahhh. shitty end to such a great week.
I miss you already San Diego and will see you all very soon. <3
OTHER EXCITING NEWS!!! I got a letter in the mail that has invited me to participate in the Honors Convocation. This means that my "GPA was at the top of my class". Yay me! that's all.
