First 50 Shades of Crap, now this.
A OneDirection fan has gotten a massive publishing deal for her Mary Sue porn epic about Harry Stiles and, well, her Mary Sue. Mind you, this is the SECOND 1D fanfic to get a publishing deal. This one just has porn. Sue porn.
The sad thing is, there is a TON of better fanfic out there - real person and fictional person - but it will probably never see the light of day. Stuff like Twilight and OneDirection just happens to catch the attention of "real" publishers because it's so well-known - never mind whether or not it's good. (Heck, probably most of us have AUs where the serial numbers are pretty close to filed off already - we'd just have to change names and a few details).
But, on a better note when it comes to writing, behold my Season of Kink card!
