Well, Byou did get nominated, and he's sort of an old school performer - though he hasn't been in the business as long as Ruki and Aoi. But, yes, most of the noms this year did go to younger performers - the JAVAs are having a youth-obsessed year, it seems. Then again, the noms are kind of all over the place (Heavy Hitter's new system kind of messed things up a little) - Datenshi Blue 2 gets Best Screenplay but Heart of the Ocean gets Best Director? (Although JAVA could very well claim that since the basic script for Heart of the Ocean came from a contest, not an in-house writer, it doesn't qualify). And yes, there is internal competition! We'll see how that plays out in the actual awards. And yes, Yo-ka and Tsuzuku can't even escape the flu here - I just had to make that part of the fic. (Just glad to see them doing better in real life!) Couldn't resist the shared earrings, either - a sweet gesture between them!

Thanks! There really is a lot of love here - not just the obvious romantic connection between Subaru and Tomoya, but also the love Subaru's friends show in helping him move (and, in the background, the love Yuuki displays taking care of the sick Yo-ka. Yes, I just had to have art imitate life in that regard).
