Dressaholics anonymous
I have two obsessions at the moment: Inception fanfic and buying dresses. Since I haven't really used this thing for fandom/fanfic (this is under consideration as I currently am teenager levels of obsessed with JGL and Inception), I will instead post links to pretty, pretty dresses. I want them all!!! Why am I not a millionaire yet? And why does Norway insist on putting taxes and huge administration fees on everything over NOK200, thus making it nearly impossible to buy shiny dresses from the intarwebs?!?
Anyway, come payday it is my intention to buy a dress from modcloth.com regardless of stupid tax laws. These are the contenders:
The Naturalist Dress - it's mostly the pattern and colour that I like, also it is v.v. cheap. It is a little bit too summery though so maybe not the best choice at the moment.
Recently Promoted Dress - I like the vibe of this and it will be good for work, but it is a little bit on the pricey side and I don't know if it's really a me-dress.
Final Draft Dress - so pretty! And expensive. I think I'd need a special occasion coming up to buy this dress. Idk, idk, I really want it though.
Save The Date Dress - this one is sold out in my size :( But maybe they'll restock by spring. It would be the perfect summer dress.
Most annoyingly though, I spotted this white and gold dress when I was browsing the other day, but it has disappeared! Of course, this is the dress I really, really want to buy for winter. Grr argh. I'm hoping it will appear again before payday or else I might just break down and buy one of the other dresses. I'm thinking the cheap, red one as my first attempt just to see how good the measurements are.
I might have to be sent to dress rehab though. It's not like I don't already have about 40 dresses. Tralalala.
