(no subject)
besides losing my job this summer has been awesome. riding my bike everywhere and never taking the cta is pretty much the best thing ever.
tara, ryan, & i went up to the wisconson dells to go camping. we got free water & amusement park tickets. we all were jumping out of hot tubs into the lazy river, trying to surf on tubes, and acting like 5 year olds. i still have a big scab on my ankle from it. gross.
there have been lots of basement shows, md 20/20's & sangaria, fish tacos, etc.
my family came up to chicago to visit. we went to a cubs game, AVEC (so good), mercat a la planxa, the field museum, the chicago art institute, and some other fun stuff.
my roommate moved out this week and tom is moving in tomorrow. i am excited for easy living. he is mega cool.
i'm going to florida on wednesday. i haven't been there in a year. also i haven't seen cara in 7 or 8 months. that's the longest we have ever gone and i am SO excited to get wild with her. there are no words for the shit that will hit the fan. my mom said that i could drive her car while i'm there and that will be the shit considering i haven't had a car at my disposal in... forever?
oh yeah!! the cromags & death threat are playing here in a couple months. will be stage diving & high fiving.
so yeah, a real livejournal update for the first time in forever. i should do this more because i love reading my old livejournals.
