(no subject)
A dozen things I have learned so far this summer:
1. I will never teach elementary school.
2. Cancer sucks. So do Diabetes, Alzheimer's, Parkinson's, and worries that baby might not be growing enough.
3. Roller coasters, stress, and too much sunlight all give me headaches.
4. I write and think far too much for my own good.
5. It is possible for divorced parents and their significant others to get along.
6. Aubrey is almost as obsessed with the Jonas Brothers as Henna is.
7. Maybe I should have done more than just smile and look away when I caught him looking at me...again...
8. I'm gonna have to meet Roberta's kids Corey and Ethan at some point... and it's gonna be awkward.
9. You get to a certain age when you suddenly realize that you WANT to go to the family reunion instead of getting dragged there.
10. Papa may talk for hours about boring things...but I don't mind listening.
11. I'm beginning to believe what they all said about Christi becoming my best freind someday.
12. I need to reach outside my comfort zone more often.
